Kokonaisuutena mainio. Paikallisesta historiasta kertova näyttely oli hyvin ihmisläheinen. Erikoisesti "murrekoppi" oli suosikki. Helene Schjerfbeck näyttely oli valaiseva ja samalla hyvin henkilökohtainen. Chappessa hauska näyttely jota oli ilo tutkia.

Pienehkö museo paikallisesta historiasta sekä erillinen näyttely Schjerfbeckistä, joka asui Tammisaaressa 1925-1941. Museon näyttelyt olivat hyvin toteutettuja. Muodostaa tutustumisen arvoisen kokonaisuuden Chappen kanssa.

Pieni museo jonka aiheet usein paikallisesti koskettavia.Vanhojen valokuvien näyttely oli toteutettu mallikkaasti ja tietoa kuvien taustoista löysi lisää, jos sitä halusi. Oli myösi mahdollista vain nauttia menneiden aikojen tunnelmasta, näiden vanhojen kuvien kautta. Jäin kaipaamaan sovellusta jolla saisi liitettyä hahmonsa näiden kuvien taustoihin ja lähetettyä sen muokatun sitten kuvan itselleen. Lavasteeksi riittäisi vanhan tyylin pusero tai takki huopahattuineen. Helene Schjerfbeckin intiimi näyttely oli kuitenkin museon parasta antia taustatietoineen ja aiheeseen liityvine dokumenttielokuvineen.
Museon historiallinen osuus kellaritilojen perällä liittyi pitkälti lähialueen historiaan. Museossa pirteä ja asiantunteva palvelu. Suosittelen.

Kiva pitstop Tammisaaren päiväretkellä, Helene Schjerfbeckin näyttely oli iloinen yllätys. Myös valokuvanäyttely mustavalkoisine aikalaiskuvineen oli kiinnostava.
